I have been sewing garments, doing hand embroidery and cross stitch since I was 12 years old. I started machine embroidery in the late 90's and finally got hooked on quilting in 2002. After struggling with machine quilting on my domestic sewing machine, in 2008 I finally realized that I needed to take it to the next level -- longarm quilting! I love sharing my expertise and assisting others to finish their quilts.

The bottom line is that this is not just a business to me and I will treat your quilts as if they were my own.

Services:

All my quilting is done on a computerized Gammill Statler Stitcher. Thread Bear Quilting offers every type of machine quilting from edge-to-edge (all over) designs to custom hand-guided work at reasonable prices and high quality. 

I also have expertise in creating digital quilting designs so if you have something unique that you want designed for your quilt, let me know and we can discuss price (typically starts at $35 for a simple design).

Note that this is just a small portion of the thousands of designs I own so if you don't see something you like, ask! I also can and will purchase a design if needed so that your quilt is exactly what you envisioned.

Pricing:

My prices range from simple edge-to-edge designs at $.02 per square inch to complex, hand-guided custom work which is priced by the hour at $20-30 per hour. This means you can expect a small quilt with a simple design to run $60.00 whereas a large complex quilt might be in the $300.00 range or higher. If I don't have a design you like, I can order one (I typically split the purchase price with you so on average this will run you $8) and even can create a one-of-a-kind quilting design for you.
